Tourist Place in Uttar Pradesh


Uttar Pradesh is located in northern part of India. It was created on 1st April 1937 and it capital is  Lucknow and fourth largest Indian state by the area as well as most populous state in the country and Hindi is the official  language and Uttar Pradesh is the third largest Indian state by economy. Agriculture and service industries are the largest parts of the economy of the state. The state has more than 32 large and small rivers and these rivers are Ganga, Saraswati, Betwa, Yamuna and many more rivers and its climate has humid and subtropical. The winter season is December to February and monsoon season between June to September.

Agra is a city on the bank of the Yamuna river and it is most populated city of Utter Pradesh and some tourist place in Agra are Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar’s Tomb, Manameshwar Temple and many more  place here. Taj Mahal is very beautiful place not only in Agra but also in the world and it is symbol of true love in the world. Taj Mahal, the white marble beauty was constructed by Shah Jahan  in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal and other place is Agra Fort it was built in 16th century  nearby Taj Mahal and  it is called to Red Fort of Agra. Some other forts or palaces are Jahangir Palace, Khas Mahal.  Fatehpur Sikri built by Akbar, the Mughal emperor 1570 the city was tribute to Sufi Saint and it made of red sandstone on around 10 years and other tourist place are Itmad-Ud-Daulah and Wildlife SOS.


Kumbh Mela is celebrated every year, around million of people gather to take part at Allahabad on the bank of Ganges River and Kumbh Mela is greatest festival for Hindus and on the occasion on the Holi festival according to Hindu month of Magha in mid January to mid February.
